Mm, then I should do it. The sooner I'm rid of this, the better.
[ He follows her out of bed and into the bathroom to let her take care of things. Again he recognizes how grateful he is that Daisy has stayed, even at the risk of her own health. Coming up behind her, he slips an arm around her middle and drops a kiss to her shoulder. ]
[ He nods slowly, wishing she would keep playing with his hair but knowing it will be a short parting. Releasing her, he leaves her to it and gets in the tub. His limbs feel achy and heavy, but he pushes past the lethargic feeling to force himself to actually wash his body. Daisy is right in her predictions because soon enough the warm water causes his sinuses to open and he has to lean over to grab the toilet paper and start blowing his nose. He makes a valiant attempt to throw the balled up makeshift tissues into the trash bin, and a few even make it in. The rest land on the floor to be dealt with later.
By the time Daisy returns the water has started to cool, but he's clean and has even washed and rinsed his hair. He feels like a new man. ]
[As promised, Daisy comes back on time. This time with a tray of soup and toast for him, even if he said he wasn’t hungry. As well as a microwave burrito and chips for her. She’s also got two more water bottles tucked under her arm.
Setting it down on the bed for now, Daisy knocks on the bathroom door before entering.]
[ He looks it too. It's obvious that his sinuses clearing has improved his breathing and his voice doesn't sound as hoarse. Hair slicked back, he rests his head back against the tile wall and takes a deep breath. ]
Though I should get out before the water goes cold.
[ It's said lightly, almost as an inside joke to himself because if there is one thing he's consistently terrible at, it's aiming projectiles. There's a reason he chose the sword and not the bow.
But now that she's close he pulls the plug in the drain and steps out of the tub to get the towel around himself. Naturally he's smirking as he does so because he's squeaky clean and hopefully more attractive than he has been today. ]
[ That gets a wide grin out of him. Daisy does a good job of boosting his ego. ]
I will give it a try. For you.
[ And also because it doesn't feel right to pass up food that's already made and ready to be eaten. Leaving the bathroom, he towels off and gets fresh clothes on before returning to bed and settling the tray across his lap. His nose is still dripping a little, but he feels miles better than he had just an hour ago. Starting in on the soup, he looks to her meal. ]

[ It's asked with all the innocence of a man who has lost his sense of smell and can't detect how he stinks of sweat. ]

[And yeah, he’s a little ripe.]

When she stands up, Daisy smiles when she feels him wrap an arm around her.]
You’ll feel better soon, I’ll make sure of it.
[She promises before turning in his arm and brushing his hair out of his face.]
You get in. I’m going to go grab something to eat. I’ll be back in less than ten, but text me if you need anything. Okay?

How’s it going in here?

[She smiles at him before reaching for his towel and walking closer to tub, stepping on some of his tissues in the process.]
Couldn’t quite make the basket?

What?
no subject
Just glad I'm looking better since you're seeing me naked. That's all.

[Daisy tells him, her gaze wandering briefly before meeting his eyes again.]
I brought you more soup and toast. I know you said you weren’t hungry, but you should eat something.

I will give it a try. For you.

Are you eating those spicy red things again?
no subject
I am. Do you want some? It might clear your sinuses.
no subject
[ Just let him eat his soup and toast like a boring old man. ]
no subject
It was one Cheeto.
no subject
[ He shakes his head and bites into his toast. ]
I should ask for some lutefisk in the supply drop and make you try that. Then you would know what it's like.
no subject
She's aware of how gross it probably looks, but it tastes good.]
What's that?
no subject
[ He makes a bit of a face. ]
Like a cow chewing cud trying to get it down, but making it soft again tastes even worse so we mostly eat it dried.
no subject
Come on, the hot cheetos at least taste better than that.
no subject
[ But hey; that leaves more flamin' hot Cheetos for her, right? He'll stick to his toast, though he dips it into his broth. ]
no subject
[She's going to butcher the pronunciation.]
Lutefisk.
[Finally she takes a bite out of her burrito, being careful not to get crumbs on his bed.]
How's the soup?
no subject
[ He nods towards her meal. ]
That's not an invitation to try and get me to try those things again. But are you enjoying it?
no subject
[Daisy says around a mouthful of food. He’s rubbing off on her.]
no subject
Good.
[ Smiling, he then chews up the rest before setting his lap tray down off the bed with his bowl and spoon. ]
Should we watch another movie or did you want to read?
