Mm, Thunderball? Something like that.

[ He's already dropped the dvd case on the floor and he's certainly not moving to retrieve it. Not when he just got comfortable and she's playing with his hair. ]

There's a great deal I don't understand, but I like the chase scenes.

Isn’t that the whole point of these movies anyway? That, the fights and the hot women?

[Daisy can’t say she minds.]

Perhaps it is. Though I wonder why they bother with all that story if it's not the point. That's time they're wasting when they could be showing more fights and women.

I mean, people like seeing movies for the plot too.

[Her smile grows, finding this whole conversation cute.]

[ He tilts his head towards her, a faint smile touching his lips. ]

Do they now? Well, I suppose I can understand that.

[ Eye lids closing, he exhales slowly. ]

Not that I can pay attention to the plot when you're touching my hair. I'd take this any day.

[Smiling at him, Daisy leans forward to kiss him on his forehead when he closes his eyes.]

I could always stop.

[She teases, not lifting her hand away from his hair just yet.]

Don't.

[ Said immediately. ]

You wouldn't do that to me. You're too good.

Only because you're sick.

[She says it in a tone that makes it clear that's not true.]

Do you want me to turn off the light?

[drawsblood]

You mean I must be sick more often to get more of this? That is a hard bargain.

[ His eyes open just enough to gaze her way. ]

All right.

[Smiling, Daisy kisses him on his forehead again before climbing off of the bed in order to turn out the light.

Stumbling her way back over to the bed, Daisy trips on the tray.]

Should’ve moved that out of the way first.

[She says with a laugh as she climbs over him to get back to her spot.]

You going to try and get some more sleep?

[drawsblood]

[ Her laughter assures him she didn't hurt herself and he curls beside her once she's settled again. ]

I will try to watch the movie and see what happens. I would rather not be awake all night.

I hope you're not either. You need your rest.

[The darkness isn't helping her stay awake either, but she does her best to stay up in case he needs something.]

[ While his body may be feeling run down, a person can't sleep 24 hrs a day and after the bath and food, he's awake enough that he continues watching the movie without drifting off. But he's quiet, not really adding commentary to the film. It's been an exhausting time so even though he's not sleepy, he's not interested in moving or speaking much. Still, he appreciates her being there beside him, even if he doesn't really have the energy to stroke his hand along her body.

The Bond film ends in about two hours and his head rolls on the pillow towards her. ]

[Daisy’s been nodding off for the last 20 or so minutes of the movie, so when he turns to look at her she has to fully open her eyes again.]

It was good.

[She barely remembers it.]

Full of action.

[drawsblood]

Mm hm.

[ He smiles. ]

Sleepy?

[morethan084]

What? No.

[She sits up a bit straighter, having slouched down quite a bit throughout the movie.]

Why? Are you?

[drawsblood]

Not so much sleepy, just feeling run down.

[ And that would be fine if he'd actually down something worth feeling that way, like marching for miles or engaging in combat. ]

[Frowning in sympathy, Daisy reaches out to stroke his hair again.]

Can I get you anything?

[drawsblood]

No, I'm fine. I think I just need time for it to pass.

[ His belly is full, his body is clean, and he's well-rested, just achy. ]

I think I'll just watch more movies until it's time to sleep again.

Okay.

[She leans over to kiss his cheek.]

I’ll be back in a little bit. I just want to get changed into my pajamas and get you more water.

[Grabbing the tray on the way out, she’s careful not to trip on anything. About fifteen minutes later she returns, changed into her pajamas and having brushed her teeth. Whether he expected it or not, she’s planning on staying in here with him all night.]

[ He's put another movie in and is watching it when she returns. Beyond a few more tissues lying around from his runny nose, he's in the same state she left him in. Seeing her enter, he cracks a smile. ]

Those look good on you.

[Daisy looks down at her self, dressed in some sweats and a big t shirt. There’s nothing exactly stylish about it.]

Oh, uh. Thanks.

[She says with a laugh as she shuts the door and brings the bottles of water over to his night stand. Climbing back into bed, Daisy settles down beside him.]

What are we watching?

[drawsblood]

[ Joric is the epitome of not knowing what fashion or being stylish is, but she looks comfortable and therefore good in his humble opinion. ]

Back to the Future. He goes back in time.

[ And like most movies with scientific concepts, some things are flying over his head, but he's still enjoying it. ]

[Daisy smiles over at him when he explains what the movie is.]

Have you seen it before?

No, I haven't. Have you?

[ He has a number of dvds he's grabbed from supply drops but hasn't gotten around to watching yet. ]
